Privacy Policy

Skåne Digital is a digital design and development studio based in Malmö, Sweden. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional) and message. This is processed by our form provider, Formspree, and used solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent / steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.

Analytics (only with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This only runs after you actively accept it in the cookie banner — by default, no analytics data is collected (Google Consent Mode v2, denied by default). If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) and collects pseudonymous data such as pages visited, approximate location (derived from IP, not stored precisely), device and browser type. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Consent choice. We store your cookie-banner choice (accept/decline) in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every visit. This is not shared with any third party.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request logs as a normal part of delivering and securing the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (site security and operation).

Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) — only if you accept analytics cookies.

Formspree, Inc. — contact form submissions.

Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and content delivery.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the United States). Where this happens, they do so under the legal safeguards required by their own privacy programs (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses) — please refer to each provider's own privacy policy for details.

Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' own retention settings.

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing that already happened). To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se).

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
